close my eyes and see if I can picture what it is you are envisioning.”
I have to control my ever-arching eyebrow from hitting my hairline
so Thea won’t see my dubiousness. “What if there is nothing I want?”
Her shoulders drop, her lips flatten. “Forget I asked, Gabriel.
Michaela will help me. She isn’t dismissive like you, she said she
wanted to know more about what I do anyway. Even if she is just
humoring me, she wouldn’t be an asshole about it like you are.”
“Wait!” I’m hit by inspiration.

Yep. I would love to actualize my desires for her. All. Day. Long.
