Blindsided by Emma Hart

Emma Hart's brand new series BY HIS GAME starts off with this explosive
first book Blindsided!

RELEASE DATE: January 12, 2015

From Emma Hart, the New York Times bestselling author of the Game series, comes a brand new series where the game is realer, the tension is tighter, the sex is hotter, and the stakes are the highest of all…

Two people. Two agendas. Two games.

What happens when the out-there It-Boy of football meets the secret It-Girl of fashion?

As the daughter of Hollywood’s sweetheart, Leah Veronica can’t even buy a coffee without finding her face on a magazine stand, so it’s no wonder she’s launching her first fashion line in secret. With it debuting at New York Fashion Week in just under a month, extra time in the spotlight is the last thing she needs.

The son of the best quarterback the league has ever seen, filling legendary shoes as the L.A. Vipers’ quarterback was inevitable for Corey Jackson. So was meeting Leah Veronica—the first girl to hand him his ass without putting a hair out of place.

Getting the handsome, prickly blonde into his bed becomes his number one goal. But getting the sexy, over-confident footballer the hell away from her becomes Leah’s—at least until she realizes the best way to do that is to give him what he wants.

If only it was that simple.

When Corey discovers who she is, and private photos of Hollywood’s finest find their way online, everything they thought they knew is thrown into disarray.

And when secrets are exposed and hearts are shattered, they have to figure out if they’ve been blindsided by love or reality, and if it’s worth running the extra yard to win the game they never meant to play.

I'm Yours by Ella Maise

Title: I’m Yours
Author: Ella Maise
Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance
Release Date: December 1, 2014

Synopsis:
Have you ever been in love?
So in love that you believed all the lies, again and again?
Because I did...
Did you manage to escape from the hurt, the heartbreak, and the tears that came with being in love?
Did you even have time to pick up the broken pieces of your heart before they shattered it all over again?
Because I didn't...

I gave Evan my heart, my trust, my everything, and in return all he gave me was pain. Stumbling around in a new city, picking up the pieces I had lost, I found myself in a stranger's arms. Cradling me against his chest, protecting me, seeing me, promising me everything I was afraid to ask for myself again.

I'm not naive enough to mistake lust for love. Love never comes that easily; it always rips you apart before it finally gives you what each and every one of us longs for. But Noah knew what he was after, and now I know that nothing could have stopped him from taking what he wanted from me.

He became the one who gave me hope again, day after day, simply by being there. He became the one who made me whimper in bed, while he whispered dirty words in my ear, night after night. And then he became the one who took it all away again.

This is my story, maybe a simple one for some, yet still completely mine.

Excerpt:

Just when I was dropping my phone into my bag, I heard a knock at the door. Hurrying, I opened it. It was my date for the night, looking more handsome than he had the right to look. He wore dark washed jeans that seemed to fit a little too well, and a simple white button up dress shirt with folded up sleeves. Even though it sounded like a simple choice, the way they looked on him…
I was downright ready to jump his bones, or just screw the dinner, and pull him in so we could do dirty things to each other. My eyes finally made it up to his face, and I noticed his barely there stubble. I had to bite my lip to stop the groan that I knew was coming. “You like what you see, huh?” he grinned. “I have to say, I really like the look on your face every time you open the door and find me standing here. I’m becoming addicted.” I came out of my trance and realized that I was actually gaping at him. My eyes snapped up to his, only to see they were full of mischief. “You’ll do,” I said, shrugging, and trying to look nonchalant. “I’ll do, you say…” he crossed his arms over his chest, trying to look like he was being serious. “Do you want me to come in and show you how I’ll actually do?”
I slowly shook my head smothering a smile. “I don’t think so, I doubt it would be worth skipping out on dinner,” I lied. He took one slow step towards me, his intent clear. I threw up my hands, a big smile stretching across my face at the same time. “Okay, okay! Wait there, don’t come any closer than that because if you come in we’ll probably skip dinner altogether, and I’m really hungry. Besides,
I already know quite well what you can do.” I took a few steps back, still holding my palms out. “Give me one more second, and I’ll be right back.” Just before I turned around and ran to my room, I saw a genuine smile on his face, one that was saying he was already enjoying himself by simply being near me. I hooked my handbag on my shoulder, grabbed my shoe options and ran back to Noah. Stopping in front of him, I held up each pair for his inspection. “Which one? Flats or pumps?” “Do you even need an answer for that? I’m a guy, of course I’ll go with the pumps; it makes imagining you naked and bent over easier for me, but if you think it will be uncomfortable walking in them, you should wear the flats.
I don’t think my imagination will have a problem tonight.”
He was being extremely thoughtful, which was a treat that was almost impossible to find in a guy. Holding onto his arm, I lowered both pair on the ground and slid my feet into the pumps. As soon as I was in them, he captured my hand in his before I could have a chance to protest. Leaning in, he grabbed the key from the table and closed the door, locking it twice before handing them back to me. “We better leave now, or I’m going to fuck you into oblivion,” he muttered under his breath. I, however, chose to act like I didn’t hear him. Opening my purse, I secured the keys in the small zipper. Just as I lifted my head, he blocked my way. Lifting my chin with his fingers, he looked deep into my eyes. “You look so beautiful, baby. I’m very happy that you are finally going out with me. Thank you for this.”
He gave me a soft kiss on my forehead. “I swear, you’ll never be sorry, it only gets better after this.” I had a feeling that he wasn’t lying to me. Even if this was the best I would get, I was already sold. He leaned down and gave me a kiss on my neck, so very close to my ear. My eyes closed on their own accord. Straightening, he explained, “I didn’t want to ruin your makeup, for now, but I will claim your lips more than once before I bring you back here. Until then I’ll just focus on different parts of your body.” Even with a small kiss like that, he made my heart beat faster, and my pulse got all kinds of crazy under his touch. I opened my eyes and smiled back at him while trying to slow down my fleeing heart.
I was already ready for the claiming part of the night. As we made our way to his car, he laced our fingers together and everything felt right in my world.

Cover Reveal: Versions - Blacklist Novella 1 by Megan Mitcham

Versions - Blacklist Novella 1

The truth doesn't have versions. Or does it?

Rin Lee covered her childhood in dirt and danced on its grave. Only she pranced a little too hard and spent her young-adult life tiptoeing the straight and narrow. Things finally paid off in the form of a job with the Department of Defense, a home of her own, and a boyfriend muscled enough he put Zach Efron to shame. Until one text reveals a hideous truth that splinters her world.

Suddenly she can’t trust Nate or their surrogate family of friends. Can she possibly trust Luck—the man who mirrors her soul, scares her beyond the neat confines she’s erected around herself, and makes her scrutinize the versions she’s always been too angry to see?

Luck turned to the streets out of necessity, while Rin slapped on blinders and ignored those willing to help her. A stupid move for a sultry young woman. But the skills she learned in the rough and tumble underbelly of DC will serve his latest assignment well. Because people like them have the instinct to survive.
